Title: ABAQUS ODB Output (Using python scripting inside ABAQUS)
Post by: TufailMabood on July 28, 2020, 06:37:22 AM
First of all, thanks for the forum!
I am trying to read results for an ABAQUS model (R.C.C Joint). It has more then  4000 frames, for reverse cyclic loading. How to import results into Microsoft Excel with python scripting inside ABAQUS for All frames at one time. I know the basic procedure from GUI but i am searching for some easy method with python script. The output i want to import is RF and U2.
Noting that, the file is very large and i am not able to get the results from XY data as my PC stop working due to larger file.
Thanks!

Hi--I think scripting is definitely what you want to do.  I have some youtube videos on basic scripting.  I think that may be a place to start.  I do not have a script for your particular problem--but if you develop one, I would encourage you to post it here so that others can benefit from your effort.

Take care,
MEB
